Problem parsing the package

Hi I recently upgraded to android 9. I tried to install Lucky Patcher via LP Installer but I always get this error:

"There was a problem parsing the package."

I tried uninstalling the previous version of LP but still the same. The previous version, 7.6.1 can be installed with no issues.

Does anyone encountered a similar problem? Please help.

Disable Play Protect if anyone is still getting this
