Lp stops working for some apps 2 weeks after rooting

Hello, I am new here. After finally rooting my Samsung Tab s8 (Sm-X700) with Magisk, LP was working perfectly for many apps that I patched. About 2 weeks later certain apps seemed to lose their patches, and reverted back to clean versions (e.g. in-app purchases revert back to normal Google playstore window, instead of LP window). Also, I am getting an error message when starting LP that says it cannot find root access and that I need to update su binaries in SuperSU app. Thing is, rooting with Magisk does not install SuperSU app (although the su binaries are embedded with Magisk, so I'm told). I have no idea how to update su binaries with Magisk, and was told to contact LP developer (I have found no such contact info, only this forum). I also have rooted a Moto G Stylus (2022), and LP continues operating as it should with that device. Only the tablet seems to have problem getting root access. Every root checker I use says the tab is still rooted, but LP persists with this error message. After researching this issue, I have tried changing the root check setting to force root mode, as well as changing the force java-root method from using app_process to using dalvikvm, which was the only troubleshooting steps I could find (beyond updating su binaries, which I'm unsure how to do). Changing the root check to force root did make the error message vanish, yet the notification that should show at the bottom of the screen whenever LP requests root access still doesn't appear at all,  and those apps that abruptly stopped working still don't work with LP patches. Help!...please. Lol!
