Cannot patch 'Patch to android'

Active 6 Replies 1.3K Views 2018-02-11 04:29:51 Questions
I'm on a Samsung J500FN, 6.0.1, freshly rooted. I installed Superuser SU, then Busybox, then Luckypatcher. I've allowed it root access, I've gone to toolbox, patch to android and checked "Signature Verfification status always true", "Disable .apk Signature verification". When I check "Disable signature verification in the package manager" it unchecks the first two, so I left that one. I hit apply, my phone rebooted but when I go back through to the patch to android screen everything still says (not patched).

I also allowed it to enable Mount namespace seperation, disabled it, still the same result.

Any ideas/suggestions? The goal is modded play store.

Try apply patch to dalvik cache. Set checkbox "Patch only dalvik-cache" to true on "Patch to Android" dialog. If it not work try send to me logs from "Troubleshooting" menu.

Patch only dalvik-cache was always checked. I unchecked it and checked the first two, they patched this time.

Sorry to break in to the subject but for me the complete "patch to android" menu was lost when upgrading from 7.0.7 to 7.0.8

Any idea why this happened?

UPDATE: after applying the same v7.0.8 on my tablet nothing of the above posted problem was present so it was specific to my S5.

After 6 reboots suddenly the full list of the toolbox re-appeared. I don't suppose there's magic to it, sometimes the first time reboot isn't solving things I learned.

Ah right. Well that, its not patching the inapp lvl emulation, or the other two.

It doesn't mod any app. Rather, it patches the InApp LVL emulation.. After the patch when you run any unmodified app and hit any InApp purchase it bypasses the request to LP and a free purchase dialogue from LP must appear.. Basically, it frees you from patching apps individually the InApp patch only....
